Why is she called a wizard in Diablo 3 and not a sorcerer?

Re: A passage from the writing of Abd al-Hazir from the town Caldeum.

To my best ability, I attempt my due diligence to passing down these crucial information from Abd al-Hazir in regard to this rebellious young youth whom lack proper manners.

This title ‘sorcerer‘ does not suit this rebellious young lady well.

The title of sorcerer should only be given to those who practice magic with respect to the ancient tradition and teachings in order to preserve respect for authority and rule of law.

While her act of dabbling in dangerous and forbidden magics that centers around manipulating primal forces from which reality is constructed, is starting to become somewhat problematic. Not to mention her utter disregard for ancient traditions and teaching with little awareness of the consequences that awaits her and people around her. Such irresponsible act does not suit a sorcerer. Therefore she shall be given the title, Wizard, for even the title civilized  magic wielder is too restrictive for this young rebellious lady.

What untold powers will be revealed to us?

Just imagine, a headstrong nineteen-year-old youth with the ability to warp time itself at will! The thought it truly terrifying. It is Abd al-Hazir’s honest hope that this self-styled young wizard chooses never to return to Caldeum.
