Rumour: Diablo 3 Released After StarCraft 2 Terrans

This is purely a rumour as I’ve been unable to confirm the sources, but a little birdy has told me that Diablo 3 will be released soon after StarCraft 2 Terrans: Wings of Liberty.

Apparently, StarCraft 2 will be released before Diablo 3 after all, and it will be coming in late February or early March. The only reason why StarCraft 2 was pushed back is to prevent any competition from EA’s Red Alert 3.

If this is true, then Wings of Liberty will most likely come out in February, since Red Alert 3: Uprising is slotted for March.

That means, we can expect Diablo 3 to be released as early as April or May.

Info Update:

Starcraft2 open beta will start ’til end of year. It’s possible, although not likely, that D3 comes out after that but before the actual release of SC2-WoL…

Blizzard stated that they expect to release sc2 late in the second quarter of 2010 so thats about june, july this was reaffirmed by their comment on sc2’s release being four months after the beta so diablo 3 will not come out till september or thereabouts
